Every year the holiday season starts earlier and earlier.
And every year I decide to do less decorating and running around – shopping, etc and more time doing the things I love to do.
The other day I bought a bottle of Iowa Pine Meyer’s hand soap. I opened it up and smelled it and I thought to myself … all I need for decorations this year – is this lovely smell, and a tree – keeping things simple.
What can you do to make your holiday simple and more enjoyable for you?
While we’re on the topic of simple, I will be running some specials from now until the end of the year to help you simplify your gift giving.

Below is a sample painting – Abstract HeART that uses both techniques. Abstract art is so freeing, pouring your favorite colors on canvas and then moving the color around with a piece of cardboard. Ahhhh, the simple things!
